MARCH 21st 2025
Our road has been properly scraped and two loads of gravel were laid down, providing us all with a better ride past the horse field. We will be adding more gravel in the near future to other problem areas, near the upper pasture.
We began with $2400.00 this spring with early pay by a couple of residences that helped us with our spring revamp.
We spent $750.00 with our scraping contractor and $1487.30 on two loads of gravel.
As we begin invoicing in July for this years dues we will build our funds to provide services we'll surely need, by then for winter prepping.
September 2025
AS we began our summer for our maintenance activities we experienced a few weather setbacks but held on by keeping the scrapping and grass cutting efforts. One of our members and part-time residents paid a contractor to remove big rocks from the road bed along the road on the lower side near the upper field by the "house on stilts". Big thanks to that resident for so graciously donating that work cost for our road. After the rocks were removed we had "crushed run" gravel brought in and spread on that area. We also had several loads of the material set on the high side on our road near the A-frame. This material seems to be more stable than materials used in the past.
In funding and dues, we collected from all but two full time residents but received monies from two property owners to bring our fund level up to a more useable amount than our tough first year.
The total amount of funding will be released soon after our latest bank statements.
